9. Start your team
OK – time to start!
As a process leader you’ll need to start your team in two ways: In your Teamr app and in real life.
Here is some advice for both those things.
Best of luck with your team development journey!
Start the team in the app
Once you’ve created your password and downloaded your Teamr app (or launched it on the web), you can start your Teamr journey.
The start-up consists of four steps.
1. WELCOME
This is just a short message to say welcome.
2. YOUR TEAM
Who is a part of your team? Add their email-addresses by typing it in and clicking the +.
Here you can also change the name of the team.
3. MEASUREMENTS
Already at this stage, you can add measurements that are important to follow in the team. You can also wait to do this and add them later in the heart of Teamr.
4. START
Once you click “Start”, all your invites will be sent out to your team members. You might want to wait to do this until after you’ve had a clear starting point to Teamr.
Teamr introduction with the whole team
It’s a good idea to create a clear starting point for your Teamr journey. Here are a few tips on how to do so.
- Gather the team and tell them about Teamr and your shared development journey.
- You can show the films found in this introduction.
- If you have to choose – prioritise showing the film about the development of groups, IMGD,and the one about The Teamr Way.
- Discuss the films within the team.
- Talk about the expectations regarding you and your teammates. For example, you obviously expect everyone to be engaged in the whole process.
- Tell the team that the first period of time will be the most intense, as you’re expected to solve one assignment every week.
- If there is confusion or doubt within the team, start Teamr and solve the first three assignments together.
Done!
